| After the horrifying and heartbreaking experience of terminating a pregnancy, the most important thing one can hope for is a support system. And in the case of Daisy, she found one in Reva, who has been her shoulder to cry on throughout the ordeal. Unable to face the daunting emotional task of telling her family about the abortion, Daisy turned to Reva, who broke the news for her granddaughter. The family had a wide range of reactions, but Reva tried to keep everyone focused on Daisy and her fragile emotional state. And rather than listen to Daisy's apology for putting her in an awkward situation, Reva offered still more advice. "You listen to me, Daisy. Look at me. This is not the end of your life. It's going to be painful and it's going to hurt, and the memory will never, ever go away - nor should it - but you will get past this." As always, Bonnie Dennison and Kim Zimmer met the challenge offered by these painful moments and shined like the stars they are. |
