When is Reva going to get a storyline? (Anne Bosich, Rocky Hill, CT)

Kim - I’m starting one right now. (You’ll) probably be sick of me in a couple months (laughs).

You seem so funny in real life. Do you pull pranks on the set, or are you the victim of any? (Joey Dylan, Pleasanton, CA)

Kim - I am constantly a victim of my own pranks. I will make some horrible mispronunciation of a word, or screw up a line somehow and end up cracking everybody up, as well as myself. It’s very interesting with me these days as I get older.

What would people be surprised to know about you? (Janet Ferrell, Mesquite, NV)

Kim - I use public transportation.

Who would you like to work with whom you haven’t worked with lately? (Tanya Rogers, Dublin, GA)

Kim - Jerry verDorn (Ross). I would like to delve a little more into the real relationship between Reva as Catherine with David Andrew Macdonald as Edmund. I think there is more to that story than we know.

What would like to see happen to stir things up in Reva’s life? (Rachel Light, St. Louis, MO)

Kim - I would love if they found Kyle Sampson again. I think that’s really the only other true love that Reva ever had outside the Lewis men. I think he’s in a coma in some hospital out west. That doesn’t meant he couldn’t come back. There are certainly fans who are happy that Reva and Josh are in a solid relationship again, but it doesn’t mean she would have to become romantically involved. Just to toy with that would be fun.

If you weren’t playing Reva, what would you be doing? (Angela Morris, NH)

Kim - I would like to be “Kim Zimmer Live at Caesar’s Palace!” I would like to sing with a big band.

Reva has been part of some pretty wild storylines (cloning, traveling through paintings, psychic abilities). Lately she has become more rooted in the lives of her family. Which do you find most rewarding to play? (Rebecca Green, Hewlett, NY)

Kim - As much as the audience has mixed feelings about those past stories, those were the most challenging stories for me as an actress. Trying to make them as realistic as possible. I certainly love the idea of Reva being grounded in her family, but Kim, as an actress, prefers the stories that are more challenging.

Do you play a musical instrument? (Rosie Casey, Excelsior Springs, MO)

Kim - I’ve dabbled in the guitar – I mean like plucking – but that’s about it. I still have the desire to learn the piano, I just haven’t. That will be when I am 80.

What is your favorite thing to do with your family? (Barb Clancy, Hope Mills, NC)

Kim - Skiing in Taos, NM. We try to all go every year. It’s getting harder and harder now. That will probably be the one place that we know we’ll always gather.

If you could choose a classic Reva/Josh episode for the holidays, which would you choose? (Jody Tienda, Denver, CO)

Kim - I started the show in November of ’83, and I remember the episode where I showed up at the Lewis family Christmas and, of course, Reva was trying desperately to win Josh’s favor again. She’s teasing the heck out of him and she arrives at the house in her fur coat just laden with Christmas gifts and is basically shunned from the family celebration. You can see that Josh is really wanting her to stay but has to bite the bullet and ask her to leave.

If you could go back and live in any time period, which would it be? (Kendra Jackson, VA)

Kim - Probably back to the era of Big Band music so that I could pursue being a front woman.

Any chance you will record a CD soon? (Denise Rahn, Savannah, GA)

Kim - That’s one of those things I would like to do once I get my last child into college. Then I’ll really be an old rocker (laughs). I could create a whole new trend of over-50 rock ‘n’ rollers. It’s on a to-do list, definitely.
